Well, school is off to a raging start.
We have had several great visits with friends and family along the way. Chris Chandler and his friend Tim (along with Jen) came over for a visit and dad, Aunt Myra, Uncle Marvin, Ginny and Zac and I went on a pilgrimage of our Williamson County roots and found lots of our Boyd relatives in the old cemeteries of Franklin, TN. David and I then went to Lookout Mountain during the PGA tournament. My back was pretty bad so Henry and David had to play golf without me, but it allowed for good quality time with me and Jane. Helen got married soon after at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. Jim and Nancy came down for the 5th Annual Drumline Tune Up Day. Rudi's Batuque was recorded and published by Rowloff Productions in Nashville too. Cile certified me in CPR and David and I had a nice outing to Columbus Bellmont Park (he only has Perryville to go and then will have visited every Civil War Battle field). We also had a great pool night with Rich and Neeter and the UTM Percussion Studio recorded one of my arrangements of samba reggae for the Pearl Drum website.
Good times and here are some photos to share!
